MARSHALL SET TO HOST FOOTBALL SKILLS CAMP FOR LUCKY 500
Registration fills up fast, Marshall and friends set to host C15 Football Skills Camp for 500 lucky Denver kids on June 18-19
Brandon Marshall has always had a soft spot, especially when it comes to children and his community. On Thursday and Friday, June 18-19, Brandon Marshall will host a football skills camp for 500 lucky Denver area boys and girls, ages 7-18. Attendees will include 400 online applicants and another 100 consisting of Brandon's local charitable organizations. The camp provides the opportunity to interact and learn from Brandon and current NFL players in a fun, educational and non-contact, non-competitive environment. Just another way Brandon is giving back to his community in the funnest way he knows how.
The camp filled up quickly in only the first week of registration. 400 online applicants were accepted with an additional 100 applicants coming from Brandon's local charities. Brandon hopes to put on a similar football skills camp in 2010, based on the success he knows he will have with this year's camp.
Those who successfully registered for this year's camp will be contacted by a C15 representative in the coming weeks to confirm attendance and answer any questions on the necessary Sports and Medical waivers needed to attend.A host of activities are planned for the kids during the two day camp.
