Clearing the Air…
To whom it may concern. Life is filled with change, and where I am in my life now change is probably best. It’s hard leaving an organization ran by one of the best owners in all of sports, and someone who’s been there for me through my ups and downs. The hardest thing was hearing Mr. B wish me luck in the future, but we both came to the conclusion that this is probably the best thing for me to grow on and off the field.
I thank the Denver fans who embraced my emotion and play on the field and showing me love every time I step outside my door.

The Bronco fans don’t want to see the beast leave town!!! I was one of the few that was fine with Baby J getting shipped to Chicago. Come back and have a monster year. After that, you will get a beast of a contract.
Brandon…I cant believe your leaving? Is this a result of Cutler leaving, team lying to you about your MRI, or wanting a new contract ?
We have completely ruined our team and our future by letting the 2 pillars in our organization walk right out the door….all thanks due to Shanny being fired. If that doesnt happen, we are in camp right now preparing for an awesome 2009.
Wish you the best Brandon….we will follow you wherever you go! We still will never forget when you stopped in the parking lot to sign my g/f’s jersey last year, she will forever be grateful….
i think your messing up man, you are my favorite player on the broncos. i have a feeling were goinng to have alot better season then everybody else thinks. i think if yyou stay on the broncos you will go beast mode.
B-Marsh…
As much as I have struggled to stay a season ticket holder after all of the changes, this would be the straw that breaks the back…
As a neighbor of yours in HR (we met a few times and you’ve always been nothing more than polite and accommodating), I would truly be saddened if you left…
Not just Bronco nation, but the other people who need you outside of football like all of the charity work you do with children, gang prevention, etc - they would all miss out on your presence…
This is not meant to be an ego boost, but it’s true. You are valued equally as a player and humanitarian.
Yes, I am disappointed in how this is playing out, but regardless of what you hear on the radio, on TV, I want you to know you have support out there.
That being said, I really believe that as a player, this is your best option to continue being the Beast as you have a compliment of teammates who can only get even better with you. I hope you consider that.
Yes, you’re worth a lot more than what you’re getting, but don’t get caught up in the self-centered talk that people are throwing out there! Your time will come and with it, your payday!! I hope that time continues to be here as a Bronco!
Regardless, good luck B.
B marsh man i live in south florida nd im one of da biiggggest bronco fans and i waz so upset to lose culter i cant lose you man pleaseeee stay your the last hope for our team and my favorite wide out ever. more than rod smith if that helps
please stay Brandon u r the best player on the team and we need u to make the playoffs. Please just play 1 more year and then u will get ur new contract please stay.
there is no way that someone with a off the field record like marsh will get the contract that he diserves for his on the field play, but you could blame that all on marshall . its hard for me to understand how guys with a chance to be financially set for life make poor judgements time after time. best luck homie and respect the blessings god gives you
You know Marshall, I’ve always supported you and I still wish you luck wherever you go, but I’m really disappointed in your decision to leave us like this. Since Shannahan and Cutler left things have really went downhill, but I still had faith we could turn it around and most of that faith relied on you. Things will probably work out for you, but whatever happens the Bronco Nation is getting the short end of the stick.
I’m disappointed in you, but I enjoyed your time here and still wish you the best in life, and your career. Just a shame you won’t finish it out here.
Mr. Marshall, I really don’t blame you for being traded. With the scenarios that have unfolded in this off-season: new coach, new QB, that E:60 mess, who could blame you. Wherever you go, I hope that your talents are appreciated and utilized toward a successful season. I really hope that your wishes are heard and acted upon and the trade takes place so that both you and the Denver Broncos can move on to an easy transition into the 2009 season.
Much respect and support to you and yours.
PEACE
Brandon from the bottom of my heart thank you for some great memories with the Broncos! I don’t blame you one bit… I will be rooting for you the rest of your career. Best of luck to you from Wyoming!
well i posted before and ill post again.. man i cant belive this is happening, you rock man, i bought your jersey last year and all.. we already lost Cutler.. we cant lose you too man! just man up and come show them what you are worth and you will get a FAT check next year ! dont go!
Brandon,
As a Bronco Fan I really don’t want you to leave Denver. I hate the fact that Shannahan was fired becuase I truly believe you and Cutler would still be here. I just wanted to say thank you for your hard work here and you are an exceptional player. I will miss you dearly, Good luck and I hope you never forget us Bronco Fans.
Thanks again
you are the best reciever I’ve seen since rod smith, i can’t believe that your’e leaving the broncos too. Hope things work out for you and you end you stayin, but where ever you go, its alway a pleasure to watch you play.
C’mon beast don’t go man. I had the special opportunity you last year in person against the chargers in denver. You were supposed to be in denver for fifteen more years….Say it isn’t so!!!! Please!!! If it is i will still be cheering for you every game unless you go to the bears. Take Care, Ramone
I dont know if you leaving the Broncos is the best thing for you, as you say, but you surely do need to grow, on and off the field.
sending my support from Clovis CA. stay up!!
Brandon-
I’ve never seen a receiver in a Broncos uniform that was quite as good as you are. It really hurts to hear that you want to leave Denver. We have done our best to support you, through the good times and the bad. We have never left you. We never wanted you to leave us. Please, don’t go. I’m a 24 year-old, I’ve been through my fair share of trouble and I really look up to you as far as someone that is trying to grow more an more mature as they get older. I just wish you would do it here in Denver.
Denver fans are the most supportive in the league, and we want to support you. Now, and in the future.
Hey Brandon. From me to you, straight up: You ought t play out your year. Your contract position will be much better next year. Play it out, and get a much better deal. if your stats go down this year, no one will blame you, it’ll be on Orton.
Not cool BMarsh…not cool at all.
Mr. Marshall -
I have always liked you - you are an amazing person and a joy to watch. If I am inferring correctly, you are leaving the Broncos. This saddens me terribly - as a fan of over 20 years, I’ve had to endure plenty of my team’s ups and downs, and this would certainly add to one of the hardest offseasons I’ve ever seen.
If you state that you’re leaving Denver “to grow on and off the field,” please let that be the real reason. I fear that monetary gain is a large factor here, and while I appreciate that you - like the rest of us - deserve to make a living from your hard work, remember that money easily poisons the things that are most precious in life. Men reach the end of their lives with more money than kings, but no sense of fulfillment. No one wants that for you.
The small bit of wisdom I offer: find ways to care for yourself and your family, but beyond that, find ways to be generous to others (this isn’t always related to money - you can be generous to others by giving them an enjoyable afternoon of football). Wherever you go and whatever you pursue, know that at least in the heart of this one Bronco fan, prayers aplenty will be for you. You have so much to look forward to. Thank you sincerely, and take care.
Man you made the right choice. You in all honesty should be one of the 5 highest paid receivers in the game. Im from Pittsburgh and Id love to see you in black and gold. Keep your head up everything will work out and I want to see you have a career year this year.
Man it was fun having you play for the Broncos. You and Eddie were going to do big things. I still believe Mr. B will pay for your sacrifice because like you said the reward is worth it. Hang in there and get well and hope to see you back in the orange & blue.
Well, you know Brandon you know the only thing in life that is guaranteed is change.;Not a multi-million dollar contract. But, change is the only way to insure we reach our full potential in life! Because, only God can dream a bigger dream for you, than you can dream for yourself……… And, Lots of your fans wish you the best in all of your personal and professional endeavors! I love you and all I know about football is college and pro……
Don’t go Brandon, Don’t go
Hey man this team really needs you, especially after losing Jay. I pray you will reconsider leaving the Broncos organization, and stay here. After all if the last years team meds and coaches didnt acknowledge your injury at least give this years staff a try. From all the BRONCOS fans in the world stay here Mr. Beast.
Man, you are easily The Best in all the NFL,no doubt where every you land your stats will only increase! I wish you luck.
Brandon, I am a huge fan. I just bought your jersey and trust me I had a choice. Come on dude. You are a great player playing for one of the best organizations in professional sports. You have the best chance to win a ring with this organization more then any. Take a look at the guys before you; Rod Smith, Eddie McCafery, Vance Johnson, Shannon Sharpe and of couse John, Rod is going to the Hall of Fame, so is Shannon, John is already there. Why in the world would you not want to be part of that. Get your head out of the clouds. You have extreme talent. Get on the field and be the next one on the list for the Hall of Fame for the Denver Broncos.
First cutler now you. can’t blame you for wanting more money its well overdue. All i can say as a life long fan of the Broncos, i’m definitly glad i”ll miss this season while being deployed to Afganistan. Hopefully the broncos organization will do what it takes to keep you, if not good luck
Brandon,
I think you owe this team and fans the 2009 season. Denver has fulfilled their commitments and dedication to you, so should do the same.
WE NEED YOU HERE MORE THAN EVER THIS YEAR!!! Have a good season, then ask for a new improved contract.
Good luck wherever you go, and I hope your life is filled with success. I’ll miss you here in Denver, but if its whats best for you then you gotta do it.
Brandon as a broncos fan and as a football fan I am very dissapointed in your actions. Each year it get’s worse and worse and it is hard for me to be a fan of professional sports anymore. I understand you want what is best for you and your family but why in the world do you think you deserve a new contract with all of your off the field problems? Regardless of if you were in the right or wrong perception is everything. As a active duty MILITARY member it is disgusting to see someone upset over getting paid $2.5 Mill. I don’t make near as much as you and if I held out I would go to jail. But that is the difference between a true professional “the MILITARY” and you! Just being honest because I can no longer be a emotionaly invested fan in this sport anymore. Where have all the Rod Smith’s of professional sports gone? I wish you the best of luck Brandon.
Brandon as I bronco fan i would like to hear you on fm 104.3 the fan with the night guys tonight
Eric
in Denver
I am a huge Denver fan. You are one of my favorite Denver Bronco player. If you really do live I think it will be a shame. I will miss you if you leave. But I know you are only doing what you think is the best for both side and i respect it. No matter what it comes to. I do have on qeustion though, is there any other reason you want to leave the Denver Broncos beside you thinking change is best?
Best wishes, man. I’ll miss the excitement you brought to every game.
And thanks!
why dont you show up have a great season the money will come! if u get traded u still are not gonna get a new deal! until your contract is up dude!!
say it aint so!
Obviously not knowing what exactly has gone on away from all the media, I can’t say if I agree or disagree with your decision to leave Denver. But, saying you are leaving an organization ran by one of the best owners in sports makes it hard for me to understand why. I am hopeful that you and the Denver Broncos will still come to an agreement that keeps you here, but what makes you happy and better off is always the right decision no matter what others may say.
I wish you all the best in whatever road you head down. Thank you for the past few years of fun and exciting football in Denver. I will sincerely miss watching you in Blue and Orange.
Seth
Please don’t leave us B Marsh. I almost cried when Cutler left and now you will be gone too and it’s really frustrating. PLEASE try to work this out with the Broncs, because I cannot take anymore of this….
this is total BS Brandon! This organization stood behind you thru all your off-field BS, and there was a lot of it. Spend one more year with us proving you’re a team player, THEN move it on down the line if that’s what you still think is best.
Honor your contract, leave the Broncos with Honor!
Im personally sorry to see that you are on the verge of leaving the broncos. But being only 15 it will be hard losing both of my heros of the game (you and jay). Yall two gave me and my friend the competitive drive to fight for that extra yard. Me and my friend being both tried to reinact you to on the field by both of us wearing the same numbers as yall and yelling out Jay and B-Marsh everytime we made a touchdown in practice. I dont know yet if we will be doing that again seeing as there is not much purpose. On the other hand I am personally glad you and cutler both started your careers here in denver and having such great seasons I hope yall the best where ever yall go but at east remeber no matter how bad or great you get i will always be a fan rooting for you hopeing you the best of luck where ever you may end up(Denver would be very nice). But plese plese do not end up with the raiders or the chargers or chiefs. Just do your best on and off the field to better your career and remeber its all about the M&Ms the money and the memories.
Your fan Tyler Tillman.
Air is plenty clear in Mile High…
Mile High City wants to believe in Brandon. We want him here and we want him to succeed. We want him to learn from #80 and become a role model for his young fans. We want him as a Bronco for life.
Show up for work, and show everyone what #15 is capable of doing this season and you will be rewarded with so much more than can be monetarily rewarded.
I challenge the Beast to show Denver what he is really made of.
Why man? this organazition is going in the right way i think you should stay you would be great with this offense.
You had an extremely bright future not that you wont wherever else you go but i think if you played great this season you could get that money you deserve and then make your self a household name in this league.
Hey Brandon please stay in Denver your my favorite player along with Champ and Dawkins. I even got tickets to see you guys play in San Francisco for my birthday and its always great seeing you and the team play! Please remain a BRONCO! And if you do get traded please don’t go to the Raiders! haha
I hope to see you next year tearing it up!
-GO BROCOS
yea change will be the best thing for your career cuz I don’t see u being as good in there new system. but what teams would u like to go play for?the ravens need a elite no. 2 to make a ran at the super bowl and believe that u will help that team out with your presents on the field
Brandon,
Please think hard, pray, and reach for counsel of the people who you respect about these thoughts. This is a team which you belong with. Change will happen even while you are here. It will happen within you, and around you. Take your time. Look toward your dreams. Realize that doing the right thing now, will bless you forever.
Peace,
Dave
B Marsh what are you doing to me??us (Broncos Fans)? You are whats keeping the faith alive in some of us. We stuck with you thru all these things and now your just want up and leave. We just lost our franchise QB now our franchise WR. Take a step back and make sure this is what you want to do after all the trust we put into you. Just take the huge contract there gonna give you once this suspension issue is over. Good Luck on whatever you do but it would be nice to see the Broncos retiring #15 one day.
BMarsh - This is a chump move by a great player who could have been an all-time great Bronco. Rethink this mess before it gets to late. Denver loves you
Hi Brandon,
I can not help but be disappointed that you too want out of Denver. What gives? This is the team that showed confidence in you by drafting you while others passed u up. The team and the fans (me included) that backed you up after many legal run ins and your mis-hap in Orlando. Something about you and your personality was inspiring for fans and it went beyond your football ability. Is the door completely closed in Denver, as I’d like to see your story end happily there. One last thing, if Mr. B is the best owner in sports, why would u want to go play for another boss? It doesn’t make sense. Take care bro
You have to be kidding me! Brandon - you will NOT be loved for pulling this. What has Denver done to you but keep forgiving your mess ups and hoping that you will pull it together and grow up. And you could start with telling the truth…you just want more money. There are better ways of going about this other than following the poor example of Jay Cutler.
Can Bronco Fans just please get a break here!
Man i know that things in Denver don’t seem to be going well, but man sometimes change must take place from the inside and not the outside. Now i’m a Chicago minister and I love the Bears so selfishly i would tell to come on over here with Jay. But wisely I must tell you whats real. That guy we traded over there for Jay, He is the truth. Kyle was starting to come into his own here and you guys can make magic together. He isn’t gonna beat you all the time with his arm, but he isn’t gonna turn the ball over and he knows how to do just enough to win and run an offense. This offensive playbook and lack of recievers, along with a tired of carrying the load defense here was the difference in having three or four more wins. But please watch the tape on kyle in the two minute last year. He showed he’s a warrior last season here. You guys can make each other so much better. Now on the other hand if this is about coaching, he’s new, so is your QB it can all be magic. Who knows what your leaving to search after may be right in front of you!!!!!!
You will be missed…
Broncos country will miss you, in fact I’m not sure we’ll know what to do without you. This offseason has been tough on our team from inside out. The 06′ draft class for the Broncos will always be in my heart and no matter where you guys go part of me will go with you. You, Tony, and Jay are all great players with the chance to have very impressive futures. Denver will miss you, but good luck wherever you go. And remember, if you end up playing against us at home this coming season I’ll be there, lower level of the south stands, with your jersey on cheering for you and my Broncos.
Brandon… where to begin? First and foremost I am a huge fan of yours, and I always have been. I don’t understand why you would turn your back on your teammates and all the loyal fans. WE stuck by you all along through it all, and now this. I realize that football is a business, but don’t burn the people that helped you get to where you are in life. I understand that you want a new contract, and I think that you deserve one, but this isn’t the way to handle it. Man up Brandon, play your ass off this year and you’ll get what you rightfully deserve. I wish you all the luck in the world, even if your not with Denver this year. You are one of the most exciting and talented players in the NFL, and I will continue to follow you if you leave (sadly). Please think this over . If there is one thing that I learned in life it’s that the grass isn’t always greener on the other side. We as the fans need you, and your teammates REALLY need you. Don’t do the easy thing and turn your back on us, life can really suck sometimes, but tough times don’t last….tough people do. Best of luck #15
Brian W
Dude why you wanna leave?
No Brandon! Please don’t leave the Broncos! You are the best player on the team and I just can’t imagine the team without you! Your my fav WR on my fav football team.
I definetly can’t imagine a Pro Bowl (in Hawaii) with you wearing a different team helmet.
Please stay with us Brandon. We need you on our team and we need you to help us get to the playoffs. If this is just about the contract then just play one more year and then you will get a new one. Please just stay.
Just wanted to say thank you. But you are not like Jay or T.O. well thats what i think. finish your contract or maybe ask them to talk to the cards. Bolden is not happy there!
thats a nice place. Well hope to see your face out there. GO! BRONCOS
You are breaking me hearts, Denver fans have dealt with so much, and now you are breaking our hearts. I wish the best for you, and that is why I believe you should stay in Denver. You will never find the same love from fans. Sad day.
I guess I for one just don’t understand. After watching extremely gifted athletes like John Elway, or TD, or Joe Sakic I just don’t get why you want a trade. Is $2 million not enough? No offense, but I work my but off every day for a whole lot less money. I can understand why you would want to get paid what your worth, but still man, sometimes you gotta suck it up and take one for the team, I know I did when I took a 20% pay cut last fall. Do you just feel that after Cutler got the trade he demanded that the team just isn’t good enough for you any more?
Brandon, I think that u are 1 of the best and most explosive wideouts in history
o so you are leaving i wish you luck who ever the lucky team that aquires you cuz i guarranty you will do phenomanal i hope your still in denver till i get my jersey cuz no matter where you go i still want to remember the marshal who had the great year in denver
from a fan
Brandon, I think that u are 1 of the best and most explosive wideouts in history
and when i grow up i hope i can be top 5 nfl reciever like you
1.Brandon Marshall 2.Larry Fitzgerald 3.Randy Moss 4.santonio holmes 5.hines ward
you’re #1
Brandon,
Change is always good and if you feel that this is the best thing for you to move forward and progress some place else, you 150% of my support. I wish you luck and blessings in which ever team you sign with. There is only BIG steps ahead of you.
Denver will surely miss you as I will miss seeing you in the blue & orange.
Peace and Blessings
B, you are my favorite WR of all time. I may be a fan of the Broncos but where ever you end up just know that you will always have a fan in me…. 1….
idk even know why you would do this. The Broncos obviously love you. I mean you saw how they dealt with Jay they tried to work with him like they are doing with you. You are a good guy and we love you here in Denver, Denver is your home.
P.S. please stay for my son who looks up to you in every way possible
Well thanks for your time in a Broncos uniform. Kind of weird how this happened all of a sudden. Wish you would have made this decision prior to the draft but all is good! Good luck!
Well I cant say Im not disappointed, but things obviosuly cannot be worked out. I wish you all the best where ever you go. I hope you mature into a great player both on and off the field. Surround yourself with those that will create a positive vibe for you and your name, cut lose those “low hanging fruit” I would hate to see you end up like others that have gone before you and seen their dreams destroyed, because they couldn’t handle the fame, attention and money.
God Bless Brandon I will miss you in the Orange White and Blue.
Please Brandon please man .. This might be the last straw for many Bronco fans ..
First Shanny then Cutler and now u !! Wow, do what u gotta do but man u could have a great future in orange … peace bro
play your contract out show, them that if they don’t start apreciating the kind of talent you have another team will, well good luck and hopefully at the end of the day you still are wearing orange and blue
As a Raider fan, I am actually excited to hear this. I have always thought you were an excellent receiver, but you are on a team that is a sinking ship. You are right to get out now. I know the possibility of you ever going to the Raiders is a extreme stretch, but I would welcome you to the Raider Nation! Our ship is about to rise and maybe as our ships cross paths you can jump on a very young, exciting team. They remind me of you in those terms. Take care, hope and wish you the best.
B Marsh come on dude stay in Denver you are one of my favorite recievers of all time just play one more year and then you will get a fat fat contract you will be probably the highest paid reciever in the league so dont leave your a bronco and always will be bronco
You know this isn’t fair to the fans who want you here. The Broncos are a high class organization and I’m certain they will pay you what you are worth if you just give it time. Please stay and help us bring another Super Bowl back to Denver. I know Jay leaving makes things harder, but we are so close and we can’t do it without you.
Brandon,
I can say that it doesn’t appear to be the best time to be a Bronco, with the obvious rebuilding stage the team is in, but we need you. I understand fighting for a new contract, you deserve to get paid as a top wide out because you are one, but coming from someone who makes a little over 50k a year, 2.2 mil isn’t that bad. Please be patient with the team as at has been with you, give mcdaniels a chance to prove himself, let him build an offense around you, imagine that paycheck, imagine that spotlight, in a league filled with pre madona WR’s, be the exception, show us that there is some loyalty left in the game. Be someone everyone can look up to, be the star of a franchise, get that ring with the blue and orange, be the light that this team needs in this time of darkness.
p.s. There is no one that can even come close to doing what you do when your at 100 percent, there is no replacement.!!
Brandon come to chicago and hook up with ur old teammate jay… if we add u we r a super bowl contender well i know its just a comment from a fan but chicagos the fit for u
Brandon,
Pleaseeeeee don’t go! Begging you to stay!! We can’t lose another one of our best players. My husband and I hold season tickets and when I heard you wanted to be traded, I told him we may as well sell our seaon tickets! Please think about it! We love you!
best of luck to u in the future but i wish u would stay in denver. i think that u would be able to grow best here and i believe that mcdaniels could make u a better player if you stayed. broncos country will miss u and will never forget u.
Yo B,
c’mon dawg
What you doin man….
this town loves you and hasn’t had a great receiver like you in a while.
YOU ARE A MONSTER
YOU PLAY LIKE ONE AGAIN AND YOU WILL HAVE A MONSTER DEAL.
TRUST ME B JUST SHOW UP AND PERFORM TO YOUR ABILITY AND YOU WILL DEFINITELY GET WHAT YOU DESERVE.
i live in vegas i went to poetry to meet you but they didnt let me in because i was wearing your jersey and they had dress code.
I AM YOUR BIGGEST FAN TRUST ME WHEN I SAY THAT I HAVE WATCHED EVERY INTERVIEW THAT YOU HAVE AIRED AND EVEN THAT FAKE RESHEEDA SHIT SHE AIRED I AM TOTALLY BEHIND YOU AND YOUR DECISION BUT TRUST ME DENVER NEEDS YOU AND WOULD LOVE TO HAVE YOU BACK IN THE LOCKER ROOM.
IF YOU READ THIS THANKS AND HOPE YOU RECONSIDER AND STAY
….DDK….
Why would you want to leave the fans and team that have had your back from day one? Come on man, just go all out this year, then come next season you will get a lot more money!
Come to Baltimore and be the star reciever Joe Flacco throws to and win like 6 superbowls in the process with our insane defense. we would blow the steelers and everyone else out of the water with you.
I THINK U SHOULD LEAVE A PLAYER OF YOUR CALIBER SHOULDN’T HAVE 2 GO THUR ALL DIS 2 GET A CONTRACT EXTENSION DEN I HEARD ABOUT U MAYBE PLAYING FOR THE RAVENS IMAGINE DAT CATCHING DA BALL FROM JOE COOL WE WOULDN’T B STOP RAY RAY WILL GET ANOTHER RING
Look all im saying brandon you have all the talent in the world to be one of the best WR in the game and someday one of the best of all time. What is all that talent good for if you don’t have the work ethic or can’t stay out of trouble. I mean look at Rod Smith when he came into the league. No one really thought he was talented enough to do what he did and yet his work ethic and good character got him to be the best bronco WR in history. Sometimes heart outways talent. I want you as a bronco and they want you as a bronco so figure it out.
The Broncos has made poor decsions lately and letting a pro-bowl quarterback walk away is a poor decsion. You should never let someone place your carreer in their hands, mostl the slippery fingers of Coach McDumble. We will all still watch you play on the field, no matter what jersey you wear. Keep doing what you do best.
brandon man i think u should go and try and play somewhere else because the numbers u put up the last two seasons were awsome man.But they wont give u another contract.Man i would want out too.well man i wish u the best man and i hope u find another place for u to play ball man.
Brandon - come to washinton! you would be a great addition to our team - and Mr. Snyder pays pretty well too - just ask Haynesworth!
PLEASE DONT LEAVE BRANDON!!!! STAY WITH US IN DENVER AND GET A NEW CONTRACT!!!!!!!
Don’t know if you read this brandon, but reading this blog entry was the saddest thing i’ve done in a long time. I’m a bronco fan from all the way down here in Brazil and i was sure you and jay would bring us the fell we’ve been missing for so long. I’m still a cutler fan, and I will always be a marshall fan whereever you go man, it’s just heartbreaking to cheer for you wearing another uniform. I’m sad about the way things are going for the broncos and I really hoped you would be the leader to turn things around. I just hope you end up happy, and maybe, still making us happy too.
peace man
I dont know what to say this offseason has been my hardest to keep my head held high but if you leave, i feel empty…i think…..i think this is the one that breaks my spirit…..
Wow, BMARSH if it means anything to you, please stay for the fans. Im only 16 but your my favorite player and i cant see you leaving the team.
please dont leave denver we are getting tickets to week four and i want to see you at the game. i am positive that the broncos will give you a new contract if you prove once again that you have earned it. i am only 12 but i want you to play until i am in my mid 20s.
your No.1 fan in Torrington,Wy
hey brandon your amazing and clearly underpaid by the broncos, that being said tampa is the place to go they are aquiring so many weapons including winslow, ward, freeman, and leftwich. they are going to be great and they need a big reciever like you. they need a number 1 reciever like you so you and antonio bryant can play together that would be amazing,
just go to camp, play this year and then you will get the big bucks.
Brandon,
I doubt that you even take time to read these replies, but in the off chance you do:
YOUR THE PROBLEM WITH THE NFL!!!
I am a life long Broncos fan and seen alot of ups and downs, you signed a contract and the Broncos stood by you even through all the off field junk you get into. There is no denying that you have tremendous talent, but you obviously lack the intestinal fortitude to be a man of your word. Play your contract and if you still want to leave I would wish you luck. As it is I hope you have to sit out at home (though i know that won’t happen) or a jail cell in Atlanta and not get paid. You are a severe dissappointment to the entire Broncos Nation with this cry baby attitude of yours. I even doubt your website will publish this response from the looks of most of the ones that are already up. Go get your millions MORE now and joke on it!!!!
Duke
P.S. Yes i know that you will be laughing all the way to the bank! But the BRONCOS will still be GREAT without you!
EDDIE RULES!!! GO BRONCOS!!!!
So, I am amzed to see that the any critical comment does not make the page. I made two critical (but supportive) comments yesterday and abra cadabra….they do not make it on the site. Hmm, kinda funny.
BMarsh has to what is right for him. After the last two seasons I can’t blame him for wanting a new contract and the Broncos should pay him! He deserves it! I guarantee if Mike was still here then he would’ve been paid by now because this is a contract year for Brandon and Shanny has a history of giving contract extensions in their contract years. Brandon has by far out performed in his rookie contract and it is now time to pay up! I would hate to see the Beast leave town, but he has to do what is in his best interest and if the Broncos don’t want to pay him, then he will land with a team that will recognize what he is worth. BMarsh is one of the elite receivers in the league and Denver knows it. Show him the money Broncos!
I fully understand your intentions of leaving the Broncos and those are just the ones made public. I am sure there are other factors that we don’t know about and I hope you land on a team that will appreciate you just as much as your fans do. I will continue to root for you and I hope you have a great career where ever you go. Thanks and good luck ahead!
Brandon,
we need u
DONT GO
We need you. Dont leave.
Brandon you are a class act man and deserve to be treated as such you should do whatever you can do to rejoin Jay and the two of you go back to Denver and show them what they took for granted Denvers loss should be Chicago’s gain
Sup man - As it’s easy to see, I’m a Raider fan. I don’t blame you for wanting out of Denver. They fire one of the best coaches in the NFL (YES, I said it!!), they get rid of your starting QB, and they don’t want to pay you what you’re worth - even after they lied to you!!! Get out of there and don’t look back. You should have your agent speak to the Raiders Org. and make things happen there!! We need a solid #1 WR and you’d definitely be that guy for us. Then you can come back to Denver once a year just to make them regret everything!!
ay yo brandon man i fend to cry man i think this is the worst thing that happened in denver except for losing a great coach but marshall i dont want you to leave man who cares what other people think you will forever bleed that orange and blue im sorry for the nonsense people keep sayin they haters man but listen to me b marsh please go ask pat for mo money! you deserve it dont trade this is not the CHANGE obama was talking about come on man hope you get this peace!
P.S. i wanted you to sign my jersey at the fan fair but you were’nt there plus it was my first time goin but yea ill see in that orange or blue or some other colors hopefully NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hey Brandon I have to admit I was a bit salty when I first heard your decision to leave. Bruh you have had a lot of drama off the field and your fans as well as the team stuck by you through it all. It was bad enough watching Jay throw a baby fit like he did and then when I heard you wanted to bounce too. I was beyond disappointed.
But as time has passed and I had a chance to really think about your situation and why now and not later I realized the position you are in and I support you. Most people don’t understand their will be new league rules in 2010. Most people aren’t paying attention to your numbers over the past two years. Most people are being selfish because they are die hard Bronco fans. I am too but in the end your family has to eat too so go get paid playa!!!
If Bowlen stops being a dumb-ass and realizes that McDaniels isn’t quite ready for the big chair, then he should step in and save his organization. They paid Casey rightfully and now they should pay you!!!
Keep making those highlight reels and please cut out all the dayum drama in your personal life. That’s getting ridiculous. We love watching you make DB’s look silly I just hope you are able to continue that trend with Denver.
Malik
Come to the NY Giants, we will make you feel at home and offer you the best contract you can get. We will pay you more than Plaxico Burress and we sure do need some help at the WR position with plax’s absence. Brandon its time that you enter a big market franchise like the New York Giants and earn big time money.
B Marsh, trust me. I am a Bronco fan but if you leave Denver, IT IS THE BEST THING YOU CAN DO RIGHT NOW FOR YOURSELF AND YOUR CAREER. Kyle Orton sucks so you won’t put any good numbers up and you have worked to hard to not be able to get your pay right now. I think you would like to go to Chicago and trust me, over there you would put up more numbers because you would be the best receiver without question over there. Trust me, McDaniels is doing this all wrong. With or without you, I believe the team will be 0 - 16 because of that guy. I hate him and I know you probably do too haha. BTW McD is just there for the money I hope you and everyone knows. As soon as he gets want he wants he’s quitting the job. SO IF McD IS READING THIS, THANKYOU FOR RUINING MY AWESOME DENVER BRONCOS WHO ONLY WHEN 8-8 LAST YEAR BECAUSE OF INJURIES. EVEN WITH THAT DEFENSE WE STILL WOULD HAVE BEEN ANYWHERE FROM 10-6 - 13-3 I BELIEVE. GOOD LUCK BRANDON “BEAST” MARSHALL!!
Bert Rodriguez
try to come to philly cause all we need is a reciver of your caliber with d macc throwing you the ball it’ll definetly be our turn to win the bowl
Brandon,
I have been a Bronco Fan since I was a little boy. I remember when it was hey didle, didle and Little up the middle for 3 downs and then punt, I have seen Elway as a rookie on the sidelines in Greeley. I have seen all of the great receivers in Denver and have considered you amongst the best. I don’t want to see you go so here is my personal suggestion. Give Denver one year, show them why they should pay you (and I know that you can) then get the money you deserve. You can be the greatest receiver Denver ever had and we need you. You can show Bowlen and McDuck that you are worth the money you are asking for, please give us the show you can. Mel Jensen OLD BRONCO FAN
I think you’re making a wise choice B-man. I can see how McDanienls has a craving for power and control. If one takes just a simple glimpse at history, it would be easy to expect McDaniels to fail. I have never understood why NFL owners’ are in love with the coaching staff of the Patriots. We have seen Weis fail at Notre Dame, Mangini fail at the J-E-T-S Jets, and Romeo fail in Cleveland. Pat Bowlen fired Shannahan on the basis of getting defensive-minded. So he goes and hires another young, offensive-minded coach with very little experience only to see him slowly dismantle the strength of Denver - it’s offense. If you compare the statistics to the amazing year the Patriots had when they lost in the Super Bowl to the statistics of the Broncos offense last year - Denver was just as good. Jay Cutler was the future QB of the league just like you are the future WR of the league. I wish you luck - and hope you end up in Chicago and win a title next year - if for nothing more than to slap McDaniels little cross-eyed baby face.
Denver is losing all it’s talent. I have been on the wait list for season tickets for 11 years but no longer. I hope the Broncos loose every game this year so the locker turns on the new coach and we can move forward with a new coach.. .unfortunately, the Broncos have taken 10 huge steps backwards and we will see the pains of those mistakes for the next 3 to 4 years!
Good Luck B-Marsh! I know I will miss you but follow you where ever you land!
wish u the best hope youll end up in ny
brandon just my opinion and everone has one .the coaches and the owners always say it’s business..i say well it’s your business to do what’s right for brandon.i would’nt work under thier new head coach and front office they seem a tad under handed to me! i am along time time bronco fan. and something went seriously wrong in the organization. bowlen will regret his choice of a head coach and front office personel.but being a bronco fan i’ll always watch them.but the broncos are gonna look like detriot for some years to come.best wishes brandon!! i’ll watch your play where ever you go just as i will cutlers. your off field stuff is no big deal we’re all human no one’s perfect.the media stinks.print something about them in the papers i say!!
yo listen hear, it’s in the best interest for “the Beast” to ship on over with “Baby J ” to Chi town. Lets face it itl be a stretch if Denver gets third in there division. The broncos are holding out on one of the best recievers in the leage, knowing his numbers are going to drop significantly with the rag arms of orton and chris sims. Seriously the broncs are rebuilding they heav considerable draft picks next year, but they are treating marshall like a half bit reciever when chucago and j would probabobl love to embrace a fine mo fo like that to the windy city. P.S with b mash the bears are with out a dout a serios super bowl contender, They filled all gaps this year at reciever. i do though think hester is going to suprise and earl bennet is going to break out and arise as the number onles ofcourse the B Mash or ol trigger happy plex come to town. Then the entire NFL need to worry about the bears.
Brandon:
From a practical standpoint, you don’t have any real leverage and the Broncos will not let you be larger than “team”, so you are most likely spinning your wheels. Unless the Broncos got a receiver as good as Fitzgerald, Boldin, or maybe Welker, they would never trade you after the draft.
However you want to explain it, you are one more silly act away from a major suspension. I’m incredibly surprised you haven’t been treated more harshly by the Commissioner - you owe Rod Smith huge on advocating for you last year.
You signed a contract. I strongly suspect that had your arm injury led to more permanent damage that you would not have apologized to the Broncos or given them any of their money back.
Most importantly, when you forget that you are playing (and are indirectly being paid) by the fans, you risk leaving a previously very supportive fan base in disgust with your selfishness. There won’t be a sane person in Denver who wouldn’t support your being the HIGHEST paid receiver in football if you can prove that you can stay out of trouble and away from large-screen TV’s for a season. Your stats may fall off, but they might not, because KO might not look to you so often so as to force double and triple teams your way. Look at the numbers Welker and Moss put up under Matt Cassell.
But most importantly, look at the kids wearing #15 in the stands. And listen to Rod.
Come on brandon they say you are a baby T.O but i said ya that you are goin to be very good but not wine or drop passes like him and now look at you your wining and denver needs you man you need to just hangloose show up for camps play your heart out show you are good and win yourself a great contract because i no denver wants you and needs you and i no Mcdaniels isnt the best coach but he is the coach now and he is teering up denver but show the fans your better than him
Beast you cant leave denver man, you play one more solid year in denver and stay outta of trouble, your goin get your money, please dont leave denver your my favorite player in the nfl and im a huge broncos fan i got all 3 of your jersys and everything.
Just stick it out one more year man and see what happens. You are one of the best recivers in the leauge and are going to be the best in the near future. This team needs you and if you stick it out you could one day be part of a superbowl winning dynasty with the broncos.
Brandon,
I really hope you change your mind on your trade demand. I am a huge Denver Broncos fan and can’t imagine them without having you out there on the field. I am from Salt Lake City Utah and have been to a game the past two years and I am planning on coming to 2 games this upcoming season. When Denver plays Dallas and when they play the Steelers on Monday Night Football. Nothing would be better to fly out there and spend big bucks to see you dominate the cowboys. I have a girlfriend who loves dallas and i keep telling her that you are going to dominate them when we go. It would also be awesome to see you take down the champs on monday night football. I want you to be here when denver gets back to the playoffs and back on top because it is only going to be a matter of time. So think twice man and good luck to you in the upcoming season.
Come on man, dont go. We love having you play for the Broncos. You have made some friends here and had great seasons. You are the Broncos biggest draft steal since Terrel Davis.
B-Man,
Come to Baltimore, become a Raven, get a ring! You’re the missing link for a program that’s one playmaker away from bring the trophy back to this town. As you already know we’re mad football fans in Bmore, and I’m sure once you step out onto the field and catch that first TD from our young gun (Flacco) all the haters will be silenced.
As a true Ravens fan I started to salivate when I heard you were on the block. If Ozzie (Newsome) does what we all think he should and give up our top picks for next year we’ll be in heaven man. An offense w/a tandem of Marshall/Flacco, combined with our famous D, man we could go all thew way this year, and for many years to come..I and millions of Ravens fans alike are pullin for you man, help us burn Pitt B..
Peace!
Kelly Scott Clendenon
B Marsh,
Man I thought u were a beast from the moment u were drafted and it was so great to see the Broncs have a true #1 receiver. My girl (as I’m sure other girls have) ripped on u for all the off the field stuff and I always defended u to her and other people who talked trash. But it’s hard for me as a Bronco fan and as a reasonably smart individual to defend this decision u r about to make (if it is your decision and not the Broncos’).
First of all, with your talent you would have record-breaking years every season in McD’s offense…if Randy Moss can do it…u can do it better! If the rumors are correct and u r going to Baltimore…is that really what you want? To play on a team that plays D and runs the ball? Man, u r gonna have a hard time making Pro Bowls in an offense like that. Putting my Broncs fanhood aside, I really think this is the wrong move for your career. McD runs one of the best offenses in the NFL and u’d tear up every D on a weekly basis…NOBODY would stop u in this offense!
Second, r u aware that you’ve been called “baby TO” on many occassions? Sure, that is used when it pertains to your talent…which by the way I think u r a better receiver than TO. But now, with the off the field stuff and asking to be traded, u r risking being grouped in the same category with TO for the wrong reasons!! Don’t do that to yourself man!! Don’t be the next primadonna receiver…come back, show ‘em who u are and let your play speak louder than ur words!! U put up big numbers…u’ll get that deal u want!
Anyway man, I’m hoping that u read this and reconsider your decision. I still think u r the #1 receiver in all NFL and as a Bronco fan I’d love nothing more than for you to finish your career here! Take care and God bless
Brandon,
My family and I really enjoy watching the Broncos and don’t think it would be the same team it has been without you here. I believe you still have a lot to offer the team and the community. Good luck and be at peace with your decision.
Brandon,
I respect the fact that you are a professional athlete, and you have rights just like any other employee for a company. But you have to respect the rights that the organization that hires you has as well. That means showing up for all things mandatory, and even if you don’t have to go to practices, why wouldn’t you?
There is a new offense and many new things happening. Are you better then anyone else? Are you that much smarter, that you can just pick up what everyone else has been practicing for months? I don’t think so. I think you need to just suck up the fact that your just another receiver in the league (Even though a great one) and go out there and be a professional. Be a leader.
Don’t be like Jay Cutler. The guy is not professional at all. You can have a great future in Denver, and you will make lots of money. Don’t ruin your reputation.
Don’t be greedy.
Yo, B. Make it happen, and go to MIAMI. We’d love you down there, and you now it’s a sweet place by the beach!
Marshall in MIAMI!
I would love to see the BEAST in silver & black this year
oh ya ponie fans the RAIDERS are winnig more games this year & the next
Brandon,
You have so much opportunity as a NFL player with great skills. However, I think you are missing the real concept. You need to get on the same page as your team and not be so consumed with yourself. You have more to prove as a citizen of society than an NFL player. Try getting up every day for a real job that pays $30 - $50 thousand a year. In any other job in this nation you would be fired for your judgment and attitude. Be a man and fulfill your obligations, walk a straight line and be thankful you have a gift. Your payday will come if you follow this advice.
Good luck!
yoooo ur better off leaving denver bro, face it, ur tryin to hold a sinking ship up by staying. go some where that will set u up for greatness and some nice nfl jewlery too. besides there are plenty of other teams that are super bowl bound and who have plenty of ridiculous amounts of money that they will gladly throw at u just for doin ya thing.
Dude I am writing directly from brazil and i dont know if you really care about the comments on your blog or if they will at some point change your mind but i think you are a great WR but great in the NFL is not enough, you have to prove to all the fans that you still are capable to get big numbers without Jay and then if you succeed for sure you will get a great recognition.if you think money matters more than showing your abilities and your desire, then you may leave cuz we dont need more problems what we need now are just Players.More than a denver fan I am a football fan, we need you brandon!
Cant believe that you would even say that! U Should just stay in Denver where u belong man. The Broncos need u. I seriously don’t want you to leave us. k.
Brandon,
Leaving is not a good choice for you, were building a defense and our offense is aleady set mostly because of you! i bet you could turn the team around other then leaving to an easy team that you know would luckily make it every year to playoffs. You wanna try to make a challenge to yourself and turn the team around! i bet if you stay you will atleast earn a AFC WEST Conference Title and go to playoffs! dont be a loser and take the easy way out! Be a Winner and challenge yourself to turn Denver Around and back to a winning team and come back to playoffs after 3 years of missing the post season!
PS - Winners Make commitments to there teams! and winners go through the problems!
Imagine that….my comment was thrown out by the moderator because I criticized B-Marsh.
Brandon please stay we all know how badly the broncos have messed this up but you are truly bronco nations last hope. No matter what happens in this I will always root for you because you play the game right and that deserves the $$ you are asking for. I know it’s far fetched at this point but your one in million man there will never be another receiver like you. Keep it up man I hope to see you in orange and blue next year!
They should leave all opinions up on this blog instead of deleteing blogs that may be less than favorable for the ‘beast’ or ‘baby TO’. Go Buffalo!!
Brandon,
I am not going to beg you to stay. Your contributions were huge for the team. But you dropped too many passes and have too many off the field issue’s.
Do the right things for the right reasons and you can become an NFL great! Don’t get wrapped into the B.S. that you see from T.O. or OchoCinco.
Quit dropping passes, dating the wrong women and being a soap opera star! You will be rewarded with the biggest WR contract in 2010 ever given! You’re very talented but remember where you come from and set long term goals.
Porter
b-marsh! Don’t leave man try to work things out with the organization we can’t afford to lose a high calliber player like you, you mean alot to this team and its fans. With you and eddie royal you two would be unstoppable. I don’t wanna see you go your like one of the best receivers out there but if you go good luck with whoever gets you i’m always gunna be a fan!
I wish there were more people in this world that would honor the commitment that they agree to, be it the owners, players, or the agents. You agreed to play for the time and money which is on your contract. I feel you should be a man and honor your contract, kick ass this year, and then if Bowlen doesn’t sign you to the largest contract in broncos history then he has lost his mind. Which is already in question!! Don’t be like T.O.,Ocho Cinco, and all the other dumb asses who worry more about the camera, money, what the other guy is doing, rather then going out on the field and playing the game . You are a bad ass, you have the chance to be one of the greatest broncos ever. Take it for what its worth, your loved by the bronco fans, hope you stay.
dont leave marsh..we love you in denver….do what you gotta do but please stay in denver..i begg you
Good lookin on all the hard ass work you put onto that beautiful field at Mile High… Its gonna be whack not havin you an Cutty out there homie. I’m in a state of shock how my lovely orginazation is headed south. But get your paper an fulfill them dreams dawg…get back wit Cutty, yall will make each other HOF’ers, get them yellow jackets dawg!!!
100% 303
Im a huge bears fan forget everything negative youve read from everybody naturally I would love to see you in a bears uniform with baby J throwing you the ball if that dont happen which I hope it does I wish you the best of everything wherever you end up but I hope its in chicago goooooooooo bears goooooooo brandon
Honestly Brandon…i dont think that there is a better wideout in the game.. Watching you grow as a player and watching you proform is unbeliveable.. You are a beast and you will only continue to get better.. Watchin shanny and jay leave really hurt as a bronco fan… Denver is your home Marsh.. We cant let you go.. you are the foundation of our offense and a tremedous leader.. Denver loves you #15 and we hope that you are back next season to drive the blue train home…. P.s If i had all the money in the world…I would give it to you to stay in denver! lots of love Marsh
B Marsh!!!
man you my favorite player but you are right. Change is always good.
Where ever you go im still wit you my dude.
They Gotta Retire #15 Man
If anyone else throw the 15 jersey on it will ruin the whole swagger you brought to that number.
haha Stay Up B!
I am not a Bronco fan and can care less if they win or lose. Brandon has been my keeper on my fantasy team for the past three years so I just care about Brandon. I am also an attorney and like to think that I give good advice. Unless there are other circumstances that the public does not know about, there is only one thing for you to do. Play. Do not hold out or miss any of training camp. If you get traded, then great go there and put up your usual numbers. If you do not get traded, do not miss any of the Broncos training camp, have a great season, and sign for big money anywhere you choose. Your leverage now is not the greatest mainly because you have been in trouble every off season and have been injured. So hope they trade you yes. But if they do not… You have to go to training camp for the Broncos, have a great season, and the get the huge contract (staying out of any legal situation of course). This is the only thing that you can do which will not hurt you in the future.
Brandon,
You are probably one of if not my favorite player. I understand that you are not getting paid as much as you should be, because you are in the top five wide receivers in the NFL, so PLEASE, PLEASE give Josh McDaniels a chance and I bet you will have an even better year this season and you will get a better contract. Trust me, trust Josh, trust the Denver Broncos organization. You can become the next Rod Smith for the Broncos and maybe even the next Jerry Rice. You have what it takes to become a legend ad get at least one ring, but I’m sure you can get more. So please just saty with the Orange & Blue in the Mile High City, this s where you belong.
hey dude i am a huge ravens fan!!!!! and if u do leave talk 2 the ravens first cuz we want u out there dude!!!!! we had a whole article and blog about u on the ravens site! u wuld b loved out there and get to work with amazing people like ray lewis cam cameron and get passes from one of the buggest young guns out there(joe flacco)! just talk to mr. b and ask for a trade 2 the ravens cuz they wuld do it in a heartbeat!
Brandon
Please, Please, Please do NOT leave the Broncos!!!!!!!
Please remember that your best success will come!!
When things go wrong as they sometimes will
When the road you’re trudging seems all up hill.
When funds are low and the debts are high.
And you want to smile, but you have to sigh.
When care is pressing you down a bit.
Rest, if you must, but don’t you quit.
Life is queer with its twists and turns.
As everyone of us sometimes learns.
And many a failure turns about
When he might have won had he stuck it out:
Don’t give up though the pace seems slow -
You may succeed with another blow.
Success is failure turned inside out -
The silver tint of the clouds of doubt.
And you never can tell how close you are.
It may be near when it seems so far:
So stick to the fight when you’re hardest hit
It’s when things seem worst that you must not QUIT the Broncos!!!!!
Brandon,
I think you should move on. Any organization that is willing to get rid of the Head Coach(for no aparent reason), and then trade away one of the best qbs in the league, doesn’t deserve a “beast” of a wideout like yourself. To be totally honest, I hope there is some way that you can land in Chicago. Or to my team, the dallas cowboys. Please take your talents somewhere else
Brandon Here is what I see. If it is true that there is an issue with your contract due to off the field behavior and you know that you have changed then here is what needs to happen. Have your agent tell the broncos to construct a contract that will pay you for your skills but that will have stipulations if you have any more off the field debacles this fits for both sides. you get the new contract that states if you blow up next year over and there are no more altercations then you get added bonuses. This isnt rocket science nor is it difficult your a awesome player the broncos have believed and stood by you now stand by them and their fans
Dont leave. Your the only hope the broncos offense has. Try to work it out!!
do it for the fans!! Mc.D isnt smart. Your my fav player and your one of the best wide out. Hopfully youll become one of the best to ever play!
good luck
Brandon! All i got to say is we would love to have you in CHICAGO brother. You by far are one of the most talented receivers in the game today, and still young. Man Jay would love to have you there! you and jay are 1-2 punch and beleive me when i say this! PLEASE come to DA BEARS we need you man you are our missing link to put us in the SUPER BOWL and WIN IT! And im hoping that upper management Jerry Angelo can put a trade package together and get you brother. CHICAGO FANS are praying for you my friend. Well enough said hopefully see ya soon in CHICAGO!
I am dissapointed Brandon. I thought you were a team player, not a T.o. We loved you in Denver. It’s really too bad. The fans of other teams are making fun of me. Common, be a team player and please stick it out with us!
Mr. Marshall,
At this point I guess you have made it clear that you don’t want to play for the broncos, maybe I’m wrong, but this seems to be all about your contract. Ultimately it makes sense for you to get paid more than you are now for next year, but if you have an amazingly beastly year like all of us Broncos fans know you can, it is a done deal that you will get more money. Unfortunately, this offseason we have gotten rid of a quarterback who was one of the most athletically gifted and had more potential than any young quarterback in the NFL, a coach who had a few bad years, and we could potentially get rid of one of the best receivers in the league. You are an electrifying player who lights up the field every time the ball goes near you and we cannot afford to lose you. So please, I think that I speak for all bronco fans when I ask you to please, please stay.
Hey Brandon,
I’m a huge fan and I’m sure a lot of people are supporting you leaving denver. I think you are wayyy underpaid. Get that amazing contract you want and deserve. I hope you have interest in the Carolina Panthers because I’m a huge Panther fan and would love to see you in a carlina panther blue uniform!! Best of luck and good luck!!
Brandon,
I am huge bears fan and I hope that Bears will be smart enough to sign you. Never-the-less good luck man.
Keith
Camp Casey Korea
Beast Mode Brandon,
Look at all the love you have here on this page alone!! NO ONE wants to see you go. You are going to be THE face of the Broncos man. All they’re tryin to say in the front office is one more year and contract renegotiation is totally in order. FRANCHISE TAG my friend! BIG BREAD SON!! I know you wish Cutty was still throwin you the ball, cuz i still wish that shit. I also wish Shanny wasn’t gone. But PLEASE DON’T MAKE me add your name to the list of those I wish were still here… I hope all these pleads of you to stay in Denver have some kind, ANY kind, of affect on your choice…At any rate I know you’ll get it done. God Bless homie.
Nique
Beast,
You are my favorite Bronco!
Last year, I told my friends to watch B-Marshall, he’s got what it takes.
I want you to know you’re not here for the coaching staff, the owners, but us, the fans of the Broncos. If you make the decision to leave, I will be among the many disappointed fans this off-season!
We cannot make decisions for you, but to let you know (once again) “You are the best receiver, on and off the field.” We expect to see stats from you every year that will make Rod Smith, Shannon Sharpe, and other great receivers proud.
I can’t blame you for wanting to leave. If we were in your shoes right now, it would be tough. The changes haven’t been enough for Coach McDaniels. I guess he thinks it’s best to let the best go. So with that goes the fans!
Good luck and best wishes whatever decision you make. You have a fan for life!
B. Norris
Come to south florida. We have a coach who is up and coming. U could form a great wr corp with ginn and bess. Have a vet like pennington throw u td’s and a young qb in henne is the making. Dan henning would know how to use u to your fullest and u would soar in miami. A young pat white running the wildcat, a good young defense lead by joey and jason. U would see landshark stadium be filled with #15 jerseys. U and ginn together I smell duper and clayton all over again. Parcells and ireland running the team, doing everything to make us a winner again. South florida has beaches and golf courses and not far from ur neck of the state in orlando. South florida is ur place beast
Hi Brandon you’re my favorite player no one like you … but my team is Denver and I hurt a lot to you and that you were only there with the maturity to face Mc Daniels .. us not really, I love how you play and you will not be the same Denver
Brandon,
Hey give Mr. Bowlen the chance to due right by you, after all like you said he is one of the best owners out there. I believe he will make things right. Being a life long Broncos fan I have never seen him due anything but be loyal and due right by the team and its players. The Broncos is one the best organizations to its fans but its players and staff also. I think your one of the greatest receivers out there and I hope you will be with the Broncos.
I would love to see you become a Dallas Cowboy. I beleive your a good reciever and we could use a player of your ability to help us go to the big show. You’ll be great wherever you end up, unless its in Philly,NY Giants, or the Wagon burners redskins. Later
Brandon man…..Number 15 I am a WR in the juco ranks workin my way up 2 make it to the Nfl I honestly admire your ridiculous on the field talent and model my game after you, your refusal to be stopped ur hardbody attitude is essential in Denver. I would be for ever greatful if you came back for one more season and forced dem to give a contract with your ridiculous on the feild talent. And also brandon I wish that you could meet me in person I would love to hear you disect various WR tecqhniques that would help me improve my game Good Luck man
Brandon I am a huge fan and I want no I need you to stay in Denver! Can you please give Josh McDaniels a try. He got us Brian Dawkins and he is really good, if you tell Pat Bowlen you want a 27 million contract for four years and promise not to get in trouble with the law I think the Broncos will to well. I know Jay got out but don’t you want to at least give Josh McDaniels a try? You may read this and not care but i hope you care and you do stay in Denver I know you will do well.
Good Luck Brandon I hope you stay but it’s what you want and I will repect your choice
Man, you’re a beast B Marsh. Denver seriously needs you so you can bring you’re talent to the offense. They just haven’t realized how important you are.
BRANDON,
GENERATION Y.
Y I GOTTA DO THIS…………Y I GOTTA DO THAT………Y DO I HAVE TO DO IT……….Y CANT SO AND SO DO IT. THIS IS THE “”ME”" GENERATION, AND YOURE IN IT AND YOU ARE IT.
IN OUR SOCIETY, ITS ALL ABOUT FIRST PLACE, NOT SECOND. YOU HAVE TO WIN TO BE SOMETHING. YOU HAVE TO CROSS THE FINISH LINE FIRST. YOU DONT WANT TO BE THE LOSER, NO ONE REMEMBERS THE LOSERS. YOU HAVE TO HAVE THE NICEST CARS……THE NICEST HOMES………THE BEST CLOTHES………THE MOST BLING………THE MOST MONEY……..THE PRETTIEST GIRLFRIEND, ETC, ETC, ETC, OR YOURE JUST A JOE.
THATS NOT TRUE. WE ARE ALL IMPORTANT TO ONE ANOTHER. ITS **WE** FIRST…….NOT **ME** FIRST.
A SIMPLE ANALOGY IS WHICH ROOM DO YOU WANT TO SIT IN, THE ROOM WITH 20 PEOPLE WHO ARE SELFISH AND FIRST WANT FOR THEMSELVES OR A ROOM WITH 20 PEOPLE WHO WANT TO HELP THE OTHERS FIRST?
YOURE IN A POSITION TO LEAD YOUR GENERATION DUDE.
ITS NOT ‘WHAT’ WE ARE THATS MOST IMPORTANT IN OUR LIVES, BUT ‘WHO’ WE ARE.
WHO ARE YOU?
SO FAR, WHETHER YOU HAVE THE “BEAST” ENOUGH TO LOOK IN THE MIRROR OR NOT, IM NOT SURE. BUT AS SOMEONE WHO HAS NOTHING TO GAIN FROM LEAVING HIS PERSPECTIVE FOR YOU, OTHER THAN IN THE NAME OF BEING A FELLOW MAN IN OUR SOCIETY, YOU GOT SOME GAME, AND YOU GOT SOME LAME.
GAME: YOUR WORK ETHIC, ACHIEVEMENTS, HELPING THE CHILDREN, HEART, YOUR BEST ASSETS.
LAME: YOU KNOW.
THE ONLY REASON IM EVEN TAKING THE TIME TO TYPE THIS OUT, IS BECAUSE OF WHAT YOU SAID FOLLOWING OBAMAS ELECTION, DURING THE GAME WHERE YOU WERE GOING TO PULL OUT THE GLOVE.
IT MEANS YOU CARE……I THINK……..SO ITS WORTH THE TYPING.
BUSINESS IS BUSINESS. EVERYTHING IN THE NAME OF BUSINESS. DONT LET THE BUSINESS SIDE OF THINGS TURN YOU INTO A CORPORATE WHORE, WHERE WHO GETS THE ‘BEST’ OF WHO WHEN IT COMES TO DOLLAR SIGNS IS WHERE YOU GAIN YOUR STANDING………BOTH IN THE EYES OF WHOM YOU PERCEIVE TO BE YOUR PEERS……………..AND IN THE EYES OF THE GUY IN YOUR MIRROR.
NO AMOUNT OF MONEY ON YOUR PAYCHECK WILL MAKE YOU A BETTER MAN OR HELP YOU LIVE A DAY LONGER THAN YOUR ALOTTED TIME.
IM NOT SAYING YOU SHOULDNT ADDRESS YOUR BUSINESS DEALINGS, YOU SHOULD. BUT LET YOUR CHARACTER RISE ABOVE IT DUDE, PLEASE. I CANT TAKE IT.
YOURE BASICALLY THROWING A TANTRUM LIKE THE REST OF GENERATION Y.
I DONT GET MY WAY, FINE, I WANT OUT. IM TAKING MY BALL, AND GOING HOME. I WANT THIS, I WANT THAT, I WANT THIS, I WANT THAT, AND I DESERVE IT CAUSE I WORKED HARD, AND I GAVE AND I DID THIS -SO DO THAT FOR ME.
WOULD YOU WANT TO BE MICHAEL JORDAN RIGHT NOW AT THIS STAGE OF HIS LIFE?
I WOULDNT. ALL THAT HARD WORK, ALL THAT SWEAT, ALL THAT ACCOMPLISHMENT AND FOR WHAT?
HES A CORPORATE WHORE.
YOU WANNA KNOW WHO THE “”"REAL”"”"”"”" BEAST IS IN THE NFL??
I MEAN THE BIGGEST, TOUGHEST, MOST INFLUENCIAL IRONCLAD BRASS BALLED DUDE OF EM ALL?
TONY DUNGY.
TONY WEARS THE GLOVE BRANDON.
HES NOT A POSER.
HE UNDERSTANDS WHATS IMPORTANT, MORE THAN THAT, WHAT IS RIGHT.
THERES A REASON YOU HAVE PROBLEMS OFF THE FIELD. DEAL WITH THEM BY LOOKING IN THE MIRROR AND TAKING RESPONSIBILITY, FOR IT ALL. THERE IS NO BLAME FOR THE WOMEN, TRUE MEN LEAD WOMEN.
WHEN YOU LEAD THEM WITH LOVE, PASSION, GENEROSITY, AND PRECIOUSNESS……….THEY BECOME THE FULLEST FORM OF THEMSELVES.
LEAD THEM WITH SELFISHNESS………………AND THATS WHAT YOU’LL GET BACK.
YOU HAVE TO GIVE FIRST……..AND THEN AGAIN……..AND AGAIN……..AND AGAIN……..AND AGAIN………..AND AGAIN………YOU CATCHING ON? THIS IS WHAT HELPS THEM BECOME THE MOST SECURE BEINGS THEY CAN BE…….WHICH RELEASES THEM TO LEAD TOO.
YOURE BEING AN EXAMPLE TO MANY IN EVERYTHING YOU DO CAUSE YOURE A PUBLIC FIGURE.
RISE FAR ABOVE THE BUSINESS SIDE OF A NEW CONTRACT DUDE.
YOURE GOING TO GET PAID MORE MONEY THAN YOU NEED SOON ENOUGH. BE HONEST, BE SINCERE, BE SHREWD, BUT DONT BE A POUTING PRIMA DONNA, PLEASE.
DONT START STOMPING YOUR FEET AND DEMEANING ALL YOU HAVE ACCOMPLISHED BY PROVING TO ALL THAT EVERYTHING YOU DO IS FOR THE MONEY. IS IT TO TEACH HARD WORK? ACHIEVEMENT? LEADERSHIP? PERSERVERANCE?
OR IS IT TO TEACH: ***GET PAID***** AT ALL COST FOR WHAT YOU DO, THATS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING, AND IF THEY DONT WANNA PAY YOU, THEN QUIT.
THEN YOU GET PAID, AND YOURE ALL “OH THEYRE AWESOME………I LOVE THEM……..WE’RE LIKE FAMILY……….I JUST WANTED WHATS MINE……….WHATS RIGHT………..WE WORKED IT OUT LIKE MEN……..GAG!”
ANOTHER FAKE CORPORATE WHORE FROM GENERATION Y.
BE A LEADER OF MEN. LEAD THEM TO FAMILY. HARD WORK. GOOD HUSBANDS. FATHERS WHO CARE, AND TEACH THEIR CHILDREN.
BE GENERATION *WE*. *WE* ARE FAMILY.
*ME* ………..is a lonely road to travel.
START SETTING THE BAR FOR WHAT HAPPENS AFTER FOOTBALL BRANDON, YOURE WORTH IT. YOU’LL BE PROUD, YET HUMBLE, WHEN YOU SEE THE MAN IN THE MIRROR.
Im a huge Broncos fan, and GO BRONCOS.
But Im a MUCH bigger fan of whats right for ALL of us.
BE the man.
BE.
Peace, one love, d
Follow your heart. I know it’s been tough there on and off the field since D. Williams left us. Times change. Your’e approaching your prime. Whatever you do just settle in and play some ball. Wherever you wind up you’ll get what you’re worth or more. Chicago would be tight tough…….. I’ll catch up with you at camp……Leonard
Brandon I don’t blame you this team is a mess they have know idea what direction they want to go. We would welcome you with open arms in Chicago and you wouldn’t have to get used to a new QB. I hope the Bears step up and clean up on the Broncos screwups. Good Luck this year wherever you end up.
Brandon,
I don’t know why you want to leave right now. You have to stay in Denver at least another year, or else your not going to get the contract you want. I don’t want you to go, leave now right when McDaniels is bringing in one of the most successful offensive systems in the league. You have a future with the Broncos there in Denver, and I think you should wait it out, play great next year, then receive the money you want. I’m hoping you will stay in Denver for the rest of your career.
Man good luck Marshall. Stay healthy, thanks for your time.. you were pretty diesel. i think the orange and blue will make the playoffs this year. wish i could watch you play with us. i know there are plenty of teams out there that need WR and i dont know how bowlen and mcdonalds could let this much talent escape. but on the other hand its the nfl. complex business. stay out of trouble with the johnny five o’s and youll be on your way to canton some day.. well stay diezel dude. stay up
brandon,
i know they can get this done your a damn good WR and i know you will be great. stay true to the orange and blue. you have never let the fans down and we have never let you down. let your play ON the field do the talking and at seasons end when we finish our winning season, they will have nothing to say but great season here is your money you deserve.
Brandon,
Please reconsider your decision to be traded. We need you. Eddie Royal and Brandon Stokley are good but they can’t carry the receivers of the broncos like you do. The three of you hold the others up. If you take any one away the other two fall. If you leave I will have to buy more broncos jerseys. Champ Baileys would be my only one left
brandon man i have been a broncos fan since i was born and i want to say you are one of the best wide recievers to ever put on a broncos uniform. with that said i think it is a travishamockery that you would want to leave denver when there is really no reason to at all think about it man you will be THE highlight of the denver bronco offense and the main reason they will win any games at all this season and if you wait it out and play your ass off this season you will most definately get what you wanted with the new contract. but whatever you do i will always support you i just hope that you make the right decision and stay with denver.
Brandon, you are a above average player. You have not reached greatness yet and this move you are going to make is going to pull major dollars from you in the future. Think about it. It is bad business to apear to jump ship when things get rocky.. who is going to invest in someone wishy washy..not to speak of your of field antics..yes kid they count..Put your head down have a huge year and then go get your payday the right way. No boss wants to be bullied into paying for potential. Even Icky Woods made the Pro Bowl one year and where is he on the tip of the tounge when we speak about greatness. peace
Brandon,
I truly appreciate your talent. I think the Broncos have been very supportive of you, and I think you would be doing a dis-service to them. They have stuck by you through all the hard times that you have gone through. Go out and have your usual year and the money will come. Give Josh a chance and see how this year goes. There are only 1-2 other receivers in the league that come close to your skills. You are going to get paid soon. Take out a big insurance policy to cover yourself from a freak injury. With Baby Jay gone, you are the face of the Broncos.
Don’t Leave!!!!
Rob
Marshall, please dont leave. This team needs you more than you know. Us bronco fans need you more than you know. It hurt alot that Cutler left, but if you leave too, it will be like a dagger going through the harts of bronco fans.
B-Marsh, your the WR the broncos have needed, and been waiting for the passed several years. I have been a broncos fan for the passed 12yrs, and you are the best I have seen on the Mile High field. You bring soo much energy to field and players. It’s amazing to watch you play every game.
I hope you dont leave, but if you do, I wish you the best where ever you go.
Brandon Marshall
You are the man, You need to reunite with Jay Cutler and go to Chicago! We need a number one receiver and you are the last piece left in our Super Bowl puzzle!
I am trying to see what is happenin 2DAY, not 3 freaking weeks ago. Here is what I know, b-co fan since 76, was breathin good, then what? cutler goes and u r tryin to follow in the footsteps…take a step back and see the grass isn’t always greener, you can bring the dynasty to us, u don’t have to leave to find it, open the eyes and see!!!!
B-MARSH U R MY FAVORITE RECIEVER ON MY FAVORITE TEAM U NEED TO STAY…WITH U THIS OFFENSE WILL B UNSTOPPABLE!!!!! PLUS IF UR MAD ABOUT THE CONTRACT N FEEL U DESERVE BETTER PROVE THEM WRONG N PLAY LIKE THE BEAST U R…WE NEED U B
The Broncos will be good this year with or without you. If you look at the offense, it has dangerous players on it like you, Peyton Hillis, Eddie Royal, Tony Scheffler, Knowshon Moreno, and Brandon Stokely. Hell, I could also mention Daniel Graham and Jabar Gaffney. The fact is that out of all of these guys you’re the most dangerous. They’ll make you better, though, especially in this new scheme. Jay Cutler’s not playing anymore, which is a good thing imo. He’d always be missing the open man and throw it up to you in double or triple coverage. McDaniels offense is going to be like the Patriots’ and you can be certain your reception percentage will spike here. You will have more chances to get open because you’re not going to be facing double and triple coverage every play in this offense, and if you do, one of the aforementioned players will punish the opposing d. You make this team a contender if you stay. You’re likely to enter a worse situation if you leave. Quick: think of a possible landing spot where you’d be on the field with that same level of talent. If you can, chances are you won’t be going there if traded, cuz there’s 31 other teams in the league, not just those 2 or 3. This is your breakout year for TD’s.
Mr. Marshall,
I’ve been a hard core Bronco Fan since I was 6 years old. I grew up in Denver (Montebello) till I was 13. As a boy i always dreamed of playing in the NFL. I’m now 38 years old and I have 18 years in the military.
You have to admit you are blessed to be a NFL player getting paid to play. I know it is extremely hard work, but still a dream job. I believe you are currently the best at what you do, but the bottom line is you signed a contract. You will be a free agent next year, and I’m sure the Broncos will then be looking to sign a nice big contract to keep you, or there will be plenty of teams that will. Be a stand up man and go to training camp to learn the new system, or don’t fall behind and have a horrible year in your free agent year.
Look Brandon you are handling this all wrong. It is the NFL and you need to realize it. you are getting paid millions of dollars to play a game and you should be very grateful. You are progressively getting the title of “Baby T.O” and that’s not good at all.
Just come to chicago and reunite with jay…we have 17,67 million UNDER the salary cap to pay you what you want and give you the respect the broncos can’t. Mr.B is not wanting to pay you and with Orton underthrowing you the ball…what will your value be then when your #’s drop because of the QB not being able to deliver you the ball…i’m just being real! The time is NOW to get paid! Not in 2010
I also understand you are under contract and it’s probably not going to happen, but i am wishfull thinking. You know your boy Jay is campaigning hard for you over here. Make it Happen….If not….I still wish you all the love and respect!
I know things are in flux in Denver with the coaching change. Still, you are an exceptional wide receiver. I would ask that you give the new coaching staff a chance and remain in Denver for one more season. Denver’s new QB will need a good go-to guy and that should be you. You played great for Jay Cutler and I know you would do would do the same for Kyle Orton. If you leave now, it tells me and all the other fans out there that you care more about money than you do loyalty to your fans and to your teammates. I would urge you to maky your choices carefully.
B Marsh and J Cutler need to realize that it is the name on the FRONT not the BACK. Marshall you need to work as hard as you can until your contract is up, and then get that big contract that you should get, with the numbers you have put up.
CHARGER FAN in the house…as an SD fan, I admit, you were the best WR we have played against in a long time. The Broncos need you. Unless you are getting ready to be part of a mini-blockbuster exodus to another city that turns a horrible team into a playoff contender, man up, dude. Orton is a stud.
It’s funny, I also followed Notre Dame quite a bit. Orton had his way with a much better ND team than they’ve shown recently. This guy is quiet. i think he is one of those “do my talking” on the field guys. You two wold be the most wicked hook-up. I think you might want to consider giving KO a chance.
As for the Chargers…if you stay, maybe I will have something to worry about. If not, it will be a yawner of a season until the playoffs. There is no sense in making Denver the next Oakland.
In the FFOC, I grabbed you. It’s a good thing my autodraft was on. Still…it’s all good.
Peace to you.
man all i gots 2 say is Brandon Marshall don’t like jay cutler u may overlook my comment that i sent u but man losing 2 star players will really mess up denver and yeah i think u deserve another contract but juz do ya best and god will bless u with one so if u think that u still need 2 leave denver even after this comment den do wat u think is best 4 u and i wish u tha best #15 because u were the best wide out i’ve seen in my time and i only wish the best 4 u in tha future if u make that decision
Play your contract out…you signed it right? You’ll get paid in due time…and to put things in perspective, I have a nice paying job by the average American’s standards, and you are still due to make over 2 million dollars, or about 25 times my salary. Be glad you are fortunate enough to play a GAME and get paid millions to do it. With that said, I would love to see you back as a Bronco. Good luck whatever you end up doing.
it would be sweet to see you and Brian in the same jersey. And Dre Bly too
me n him graduated from the same high school.
Western Branch
brandon, man you gotta get to camp! for the broncos! where else would you rather be you are the man in denver. you know bowlen is gonna pay you give him a reason to. i think this new offense is gonna suit you just fine.you should ask randy moss didnt they break the record for touchdowns in a season a couple years ago. that would be a hell of a stat to add to youre resume. and get you the $$$ you deserve! bring the beast back to denver!
NO B-Marsh! We need you in Denver! My entire family loves watching you play, you brought (bring!) so much to the table for us… with all of our losses this offseason please don’t stack another on us. Your OUR guy - your B-Marsh - your “get the damn ball to The Beast because we need this first down!” - your a Denver Bronco baby! McDaniels better know what he is doing, my true blue and orange beliefs for the first time in 25 years is actually stumbling… we love you and wish you will stay. You can not be replaced… your short time on our field demanded such attention that you will forever be a Bronco. Love you!
Jessica, Roy, Matt, Valerie, Jackson, Hunter, Kate and Daryl
Love you B! Don’t go!
B-Marsh,
You have blessed Denver and their fans the first couple years of your career…I hope you are still leaving your options open, because Bronco nation would LOVE for you to continue to thrill us with your amazing play as well as all the great things you do off the field for the community. I can’t even describe how awesome it is to watch you do the things you do on the sundays, and would love nothing more than to watch you keep on doing it as a Bronco (but I will absolutely root for you no matter where you play!) Show the world that you are worth an elite players salary, and then the argument is over, and your efforts will be justly rewarded. Good luck to you and keep those mouths wide open as you astonish everyone!
Come to Bmore! We need you! You and Flacco would be nasty together for years to come.
Just leave and come to Baltimore….we need a receiver now…….
pleez dont leave!!!!once i heard cutler requested a trade, sure i was shocked, but he did the worst mistake.so i didnt care that much, but when i heard UR LEAVING i went crazy,i dont think ive ever seen any mistake……so just one question(i know u hated cutler)but why do u wanna leave!?!?!?!?!im really asking, why would u WANT to disappoint all these thousands of denver fans….and why is change best??for disappointment of those fans!!!
Man up!!! Quit talking to the orginazation through the media!!! No one can deny what you bring to the table as a player, but after all the bad decisions you have made I see why you weren’t taken untill the 4th round. I do understand it’s a business but how can you expect to get paid with all crap you pull off the field. You are one more domestic abuse charge away from being suspended from the nfl for a whole season. Brandon you have a chance to become the biggest thing in Denver since Elway and its sad to see you just blow everything. All Bronco fans love you still and would be devasted if you left, don’t burn us like that little bitch cutler did. F him and F Jamie dukes!! If you leave on these kind of terms I think it does nothing but show your true colors and the character of you as a man. Peace
As an outsider and not being an official football employee under any kind of position, I don’t have any true view of what really is going on in the denver bronco head offices and administrations. Being a employee in a far better position to view the business of football, Brandon, you are much more conscious of the negatives within the Bronco organizations. If you aren’t aware,I have been a bronco fan since I could understand football as a sport, and in all honesty, if your it’s your agent which has the final say in you’re being a Bronco football receiver, your choice to be traded to a paying team will end up being granted. I’m not inclined to be inclined for loosing you and your contributions as far as football play goes.
It is an odd thing that the sudden changes have been done in Denver Bronco football, and only time will tell what the organization will improve or default on.
Nonetheless, I don’t want to see the Marshall on a trade watch, but it’s obvious the differences in Marshall’s circumstances are in favor of Marshall here.
I do remember the issues of Denver Broncos health section, and this health issue is ignorantly redundant in America as it is, let alone being unrecognized as one of our top franchised players !!
Get yours Marshall, I’m a never-die Denver Broncos fan, but you gotta get your rewards for your contributions !!
Broncos are trippin’ for releasing Shannahan then Cutler, that was flat-out retarded !!
BMarshall,
Whatever your future holds, live right and with God. Remember as well, women come a dime a dozen and don’t get into trouble over some girl.
Brandon-
I am not gonna be a hater! I see some people say “Show us loyalty” and blah blah blah, for every player in your situation who out plays their contract and fights the organization for that new contract, there are hundreds of guys who get cut for under playing theirs! You and Domenik Hixon were drafted the same year, you flourished and he struggled and he was cut. My point is, teams aren’t loyal…nothing in the NFL is guaranteed. I have not been happy with the organization after they fired Shanahan, he has been the only Bronco coach I have ever known that I was a fan of the age of 10. Play this season Brandon, honor your contract, tear it up, stay out of trouble and next year you will be paid!!! and on your way out for me, knock the SHISH out of that wannabe coach Josh McDaniels! Good luck Man! You’ll get everything you deserve in the end!
well if its a change you want brandon then look at my team the b-more ravens you will be the number on reciever we only have mark clayton and demetriuis williams and you will be cathing he ball from one of the best rsing quarterbacks in joe (cool) flacco and we have a beast of a runing game and th best offensive quatinater in cam cameron and a nice head coach so if you think you caught a lot of balls in denver wait till you get to baltimore if you come we hope you come
Hey B, do whatcha gotta do man. Most fans don’t understand, the owner has ,and will continue to have plenty money.
Well if the final result is that you leave. I will truly miss you as a player. I hope you smarten up sooner then later. I know it’s sometime a tremendous burden to act accordingly when your handed 7 million dollars. Id be snorting coke off some hot escorts from Atlanta.
However, I don’t play football at the pro level. So you owe it to me. To at least try to work something out with the broncos. You need to know you can do it. Try throwing an off the hook party at your house once or twice. Anything, but your name is becoming synonymous with the term “offfield…” If you stayed it may show a level of class. A huge plus if your ever trying to decide on paper. If you did leave…id be upset if you went to the raiders and wanted to party it up in Oakland with Javon walker.
It would only make sense if you went to the BEARS. Jay pretty much made you. I would be mystified and bewildered if you went to a team like miami or dallas!!
Ps. Stay with the bronocs. They will be getting a tremendous QB in Colt McCoy if you can wait!
Brandon, I believe in Coach McDaniels. I think talent is talent, yes but he seems to know that ’something’ to make a winning team. Last year raw ability saw you and Jay reach the prow bowl, however. Jay didn’t ignite going into last 3 games, and you dropped alot of passes the whole season, didn’t get double figures on touchdowns, and but for Stokley telling you otherwise, we would have had yet another controversial incident with your Browns touchdown to go amongst others off the field. You are not prow bowl players yet!! Patience to become a complete player and person Brandon and all the fruits will come to you!! Wherever you are next year, good luck!!
Just how are you going to grow up and mature without the Broncos??? Hey, I know Jay is gone, but Coach McDaniels helped Pats receiver Randy Moss to an NFL record 23 TDs, I see almost the same. Just Orton needs to get better, and you will be fine.
Brandon,
Please do not leave. You are one of the reasons I love watching the Broncos. Since “the Bruise” and Rod Smith left there have not been anyone as exciting to watch until you came along.
Brandon, Props for showing up at camp. You really have something to prove this year.
Whether you play for Denver or some other team, be the “Beast” we came to love you as!
Denver probably won’t trade you away too easily or give you a monster contract until you can prove you can stay out of trouble. Hope you have great season and hopefully Denver “SHOWS U THE QWAN” . Peace out…
I am not a fan of the “New” Broncos…I hope you get what you want, just like Cut. I will always be a fan regardless of where you suit up.
Brandon,
Please don’t leave.
Brandon… Just give us one more year homie…. If you leave, the offense will have no faith whatso-ever in anyone, and Mcdaniels will f*** it all up. Bowlen already messed it up firing shanny. We know you aren’t happy w/ the dealings, and you are a Professional Athlete who gets paid for his skill…… however, give it one more year, break every record, and make the bronco’s beg for you to stay, get the lucrative contract you want… because you will be carrying the team on your shoulders….. Let the Beast be released one more season until they get you the contract you want, then you can shatter records left right and center, because you know you are our playmaker.. Denver Loves you… hate to lose 3 legends in one year…. Whatever you choose, i’ll be following you wherever you go…. You can help carry the bronco’s to the playoffs and be the dark-horse team no-one expects…. Or you can let your career blossom w/ another team as cutty has…. Thanks again for your dedication and hard-work while you wore a bronco’s uniform…….
me being a huge bronco fan in orlando used to be a pretty rare thing. it seems like so manny people around here are following you and the broncos now. And that would just be a shame for you to leave where you’ve started. im not to familiar with what all happened between you and the staff, but you gotta beleive next year you will be getting big money no matter where you are. I personally think your an amazing receiver and you could catch a horrible pass from anyone, cutler wasnt the most accurate qb in my eyes yeah i like the guy but without you his numbers wouldnt be anywhere near what they are. why not give orton a chance. who knows you could make him great to lol. and in return he could give you another amazing season. especially with this offense mcdaniels runs… you could in time be greater then randy moss.. jerry rice.. you could be one of the best. this offense scheme is perfect for you. you catch and then get your yards, sliding past people and humiliating there defenses. not to re state what i just said but you would thrive big time in this offense bro.
happy to see you at training camp and hopefully you can get where you want to be
keep showin em how we do it in orlando!
All the hard earned money that the fans including myself have spent on jerseys and apparel. Not to mention the cash forked out to fly up to Denver from San Diego, three times a year to see you and the rest of my beloved Broncos play. You are losing respect and fans by the day my friend. After seeing your last two interviews and your heartless responses to the questions asked of you. I am deeply saddened that I have to relinquish my 3 authentic Marshall jerseys this year and buy one with one of the other great Broncos names on it…. like Eddie, Knowshon or Dawkins. I hope your attitude changes man, it bums me out to see someone act so heartless and ill-passionate. We all know you love them game and fans in Denver as much as we love the game and watching you play. Show us you still do.
In all honesty. I think you are a great talent, but you have one dumb head on those shoulders. I’m disappointed in you, if you leave, that won’t prevent this from happening again somewhere else. Too many off the field issues, Too much greed and Too much ego. I hope you can grow up and turn things around, wherever that may be.
Contract - –noun
1. an agreement between two or more parties for the doing or not doing of something specified.
2. an agreement enforceable by law.
3. the written form of such an agreement.
You have one of those. You had hip surgery. You said that some of your 18 dropped passes last year were the result of your hand being numb. You may get suspended for as much as 8 games (not saying that’s fair, but it is what it is). Honor your contract, show us and management that the hip and hand are things of the past, get your personal life squared away and you will get SICK money next year. Please understand that you are doing something that most of us would pay to do. Don’t turn into “Baby T.O.”. Go out there and be a beast and you will be rewarded.
On the season ticket waiting list since 1994
Be careful what you wish for Brandon. There are a lot worse situations out there!!! I would also say that Mr. Bowlen is one of the best owners in the business. I have been a fan for 25 years…it’ll be sad to see you go…good luck. I miss guys like Eddie Mac and TD and John…they were proud to be Bronco’s…guys like Otis Armstrong and Haven Moses….
Yo B-MARSH so i went to first morning training camp and watched you all morning so how do you feel now looking as good as you did man you dont need to leave us your still more than welcome here by the fans man we love you as u heard an waved back to the loving crowd on several occasions that morning tell us how u feel now man and i hope u get this……
big B-MARSH FAN denver loves u
Brandon,
I have been a Bronco fan my whole life. When all this turmoil started about you leaving Denver, oh man that hurt. I don’t want to see you go. I know there is another side of this coin that has to take care of business to meet your needs. I hope the two sides can negotiate something, and get this resolved. You make our team so much more dangerous. You are so exciting to watch. I do not want to watch you in a different color jersey though. The fans are behind you. The TRUE one’s anyway. There will always be haters, you know that I’m sure.
It felt so good to see you practicing, and hanging with the squad in camp. It looked to me as if you want to be here. I hope so at least. Just so you know, WE WANT YOU HEAR TOO! I hope whatever business needs to be handled, gets handled. Here’s to hope. The Beast #15 Brandon Marshall, would only look good in Orange and Blue
I really like your blog and i respect your work. I’ll be a frequent visitor.
Brandon,
I live in Chicago, but im not a bears fan. I love the broncos! instead of saying how badly i want you to stay in denver, i just wanted to say i hope you make the decision that you think is right and that is best for you. even if it means leaving denver. just be strong and keep playing!
im rooting for you. Sam
hey B…… we know(bronco fans) that you can be a little dissapointed for the loss of jay your pro bowl QB…….no one in the fan base wants you to go especially the guys that are looking up to you that want a be like you in the feauture I am one of those guys every time that i see you play i get excited don’t leave us B no one compares to you
Congratulations on the “NOT GUILTY” result on your case! I know you are relieved and thankful that its over and you can now move forward. I would also like to say that was BS on your PR person not wanting players to react(to media) on your hearing…it was a very big deal and they downplayed it like it was nothing. Also…you and i and the whole world knows that Mr. B ain’t gonna give you that new contract you want. Why waste your time and talent on a team that don’t give a damn. This is real talk. Like i mentioned back in july…The City of Chicago and the Chicago Bears are waiting in the wings…when enough is enough…Please Remember 1 thing…Cutler to Brandon…Sounds Good don’t it?
I’m new to your fan club but, that changed a few days ago when we meet,I’m glad God has looked down on you with his grace and spared you a set back in L-if-E.We as humans all struggle in L-if-E,it’s those two middle letters that make the difference in every thing we do.If I would have done this,If I would have done that.Be sure to think IF before every option in L-if-E,and you’ll do just fine.I have a pic for you,its you and that rowdy bunch of Trojans you were so kind to speak to.Thanks again Pimpin oops I mean Beast
Everyone who has posted before is completely accurate in saying that you are an incredible player with a lot of talent and the potential for an amazing career. However, don’t ruin your chances for success by letting your emotions get the best of you. You’ve had off the field issues documented that go back to your early college days and now your emotional intelligence issues are spilling into problems on field. Remember, this is your job and you need to act accordingly!
Best of luck with the many issues you have to face!

Guess we all know NOW. Nice job BEAST Mode. You and Marshawn Lynch are gonna have to slug it out for the title of Beast Mode. Personally…I think of you as Baby T.O. and it is funny…you are AMAZING just like a certain T.O…just learn from past mistakes and get better…the NFL is not a race…it is a marathon. That is why T.O. can play on a broken leg in the superbowl and still be MVP. (A puking McNabb…) Why he can be 36 and STILL A HIGHLY SOUGHT AFTER FREE AGENT. “MICHAEL IRVIN said that at the time T.O. left philly that if Brett Favre were the QB of the Eagles then they would be in the superbowl”
You have to like the home you are making for yourself, and you can draw the talent you need to YOU. Team game.
